Business Administration Apprenticeship

As Business Support, you will be required to provide a range of support across the Talent and Careers Team to enable the effective delivery of key talent activities for the organisation..

This apprenticeship will work within the Operational Delivery Profession

As an apprentice, we will support you in your development allowing you to progress through a structured career path, with training and qualifications tailored to your requirement and the business needs.
Responsibilities
  • Provide key admin support for the Talent and Careers teams
  • Support the coordination of key activities such as data collection, development programmes and events;
  • Source and book venues and facilities
  • Respond to changing priorities;
  • Work across the multi disciplines to support the Talent & Careers team as a collective;
  • Work collaboratively with the 3 HEOs to support their delivery;
  • Champion Talent & Careers and contribute to delivering a streamlined service.
  • Support the shared inbox management and mailing lists
  • Provide secretariat duties where required for meetings
  • Help prepare reports and presentations and supporting ad hoc items as required

The apprenticeship
You will undertake a fully funded Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship where you will gain a work-based qualification. This will be obtained through employment, gaining experience to help you work towards your qualification, as well as attending formal training and other development opportunities that will consist of 20% off the job learning.
You will develop skills that will aid you in the workplace, such as organisation, communication, the ability to work under pressure, teamwork and lots more, giving you a real and valuable insight into the industry.

Eligibility
To be eligible for funding for this apprenticeship candidates must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject. For example, if you currently hold a Level 3 Business Administration qualification, we would consider this ineligible.

You must also have been a resident in the UK or EU for three consecutive years prior to the start of the apprenticeship.

Please note this is not exhaustive list of requirements and we look at each applicant on a case by case basis and all applications will initially be sifted against the eligibility criteria and applications that do not meet these criteria will be sifted out of the process.

Qualifications
GCSE English grade A - C or equivalent qualification/experience
