About the Role
Reporting in to the person in charge, our care assistants are the heart of our homes. By helping us deliver the highest quality care, you will enhance every day for our residents. And like us, you will always want to do the best you can and constantly look for ways to improve. You will:
- Assist our residents by providing a high standard of person centred care, promoting independence where appropriate
- Serve food and drinks, and follow dietary requirements as per care plans
- Carry out regular checks on residents
- Offer our residents the support, assistance and comfort they may require
- Follow care plans, write detailed progress notes and complete a comprehensive handover with oncoming staff
- Attend training courses and information sessions to maintain your professional skills

Springfield Healthcare Group was founded by our CEO, Graeme Lee. Graeme grew up in our Garforth Care Home, which was owned and run by his parents. Since taking the reins in 1994 the company has grown substantially and always with our residents at the heart of every decision.
