Job Title: Finance Officer – Payables

Hours: 37 hours per week (1fte)

Location: Butterfly Conservation Head Office Wareham Dorset

Salary: Band C – £25,533 to £29,498, dependent on experience, plus 8% employer pension contribution

Butterfly Conservation is the world’s largest organisation dedicated to the conservation of butterflies, moths and our environment.

Butterfly Conservation has a fantastic opportunity for a flexible and reliable Finance Officer (Payables). Our Finance Officer role is responsible for the processing of day-to-day expenditure (including Butterfly Conservation’s 32 Branches) on the purchase ledger and ensuring that all deadlines are met. If you can deliver day-to-day tasks, improve processes and want to be part of a dynamic wildlife charity then this is the post for you.

The successful post holder will be based at our Headquarters in Wool – Wareham Dorset with some opportunity for home working. Therefore, you will require the ability to work effectively independently, as part of a virtual team, and under pressure to meet challenging deadlines.
